How to Install ncview software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ncview software package provides A X11 visual browser for NetCDF format files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ncview

ncview is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ncview package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ncview *

You will get with ncview package name, version, architecture and description in a table
